I have found it. It shall be the place that inhabits my dreams until I am able to visit. Tokyo is quite the hike from Toei...but this calls for a road trip. The most beers on tap in the entire country!!!!!! The brews are hand picked from only the best microbreweries in Japan by the owner/operator, and it looks like they have quite the selection. As I said, I've never been there, so if you have please leave your review below. We WILL be going soon!!!

Here's what I scribe about it on my regular bookmark page [c.v.]:
This is Tokyo's (and probably Japan's) #1 beer bar. It has 40 beers on tap, and three handpumps for real ale. It is off the beaten path in Ryögoku, an east-central area [Sumida-Ku] of Tokyo. The closest train station to it is the JR Sobu Line's "Ryögoku" stop {west exit}.
If you order designated beers (indicated on the menu with a crown) during “Happy Hour” (17:00 - 20:00 hours daily), you will receive a free pub snack. (Try the pizza.) Click through to the "CUPON" {sic}; print it out, and present it. You will be instantly enrolled in Popeye's frequent guest program, which earns you discounts on your tab.
It's a great place, period.
I know this is a bit after the fact but when I went to Popeye back in 2008 they had about 70 beers on tap by then. The website is called "40 beers on tap" but that's old.
b? You are right. Check the newest post about it. This one is from a LONG LONG time ago when the blog fist started!
