Greetings! You have found Good Beer and Country Boys, a blog created about the first by the latter. Some native Kentuckians chronicle their search for great beer in The Bluegrass and Beyond!
This is a call for help to all you Tokyo-area beer lovers. Miyuki and I plan on doing some beer and bourbon hunting in Tokyo this Saturday. What are some good liquor stores or food markets? And where can we find BrewDog's Paradox?
The biggest bourbon bar in the world, plus insanely good beer. If you are going to drink the beer, take out a loan. Luckily, the bourbon is reasonably priced.
Tanakaya is yes, teh best store by far. They should ahve a few brew Dogs. alos quite a few Nogne, sh*tloads of American craftbeers, European, Japanese and other fine brews. Sals is nice but yes, bring your plastic. Have a blast in Tokyo. I'm off to dance with the ogres and scare some babies sh*tless. Hopefully there's beer innthere somewhere (and a whole lot of amazake). p.s. Tanakaya deliver.
We're all agreed that it is Tanakaya in Mejiro. When I went in there on a Monday afternoon, I encountered Wayne, the proprietor of the Cat and the Cask Tavern, perusing the bottled selections {two days after I had visited}.
