Inuyama Loreley Beer's Chocolate Malt

Friends...I can't even wait until I finish this beer to post about it. I'm drinking a Chocolate Malt from Inuyama Loreley Beer made for Valentine's Day. AMAZING. Deep, dark, thick, burnt malty taste, and bitter hoppy goodness as well. I'm going to be bold, this is just above Kinshachi's Imperial Chocolate Stout as may very well be the best "chocolate beer" I have had in Japan. I didn't give Inuyama a stellar review before, but after drinking this beer, I'm going to have to consider a second trip, and when I go to Nagoya this weekend, I WILL BE BUYING MORE OF THIS BEER. Pics to come later...

The girl suspended in the cross cut of the lake on their crest is interesting. Is she susposed to represent pure water used in the making? Or was she actually in the the beer and that is why you like it so much?

Try the Baearen chocolate stout, if you can. Had it on tap at Bulldog in Tokyo Wednesday and last night too. Bloody lovely.
