Okayama Craft Beer

While in Nagoya this weekend I ran across some Okayama Craft Beer, and was tempted to buy it, but didn't bite. At the shop they had three kinds: Chocolate Doppo, White Chocolate, and Strawberry. Friends, I think the last two don't need any explanation, but the first one tempted me slightly. I held off. After doing some research, I have found that these beers are made by Miyashita Sake Brewery--and among others they make a Peach Pils and some sort of dark beer suited for unagi (eel)?
I'l buy some the next time I'm in Nagoya, but someone out there, give us a review and save me the trouble...

Doppo can make some decent beers. These three aren't the ones I am thinking of, though. The Chocolate is ok, while the White Chocolate is a sin against man and nature. Haven't bothered to try the Strawberry. Their non-fruit and non-choco beers are a better choice: try the Dunkel if you find it.

The Doppo strawberry is lackluster, but the Anniversary brew it *incredible*. Chill it and drink it.

They're also doing a Valentine-style chocolate brew that rocks. I had it last night and kicked ass.
