Nate's Beer Poetry #1

To a sakura

It is hanami so we lay
Our tarps around your hallowed trunk.
Blossom friends and beer rise,
In this we are sunk.
So fleeting are your flowers
Beneath which we get crunk.
If your beauty last throughout the year
We shall always be drunk.

'crunk'? Is that a word?
Ah, crunk. There you go. You learn something everyday.
Hope you enjoyed the hanami. The sakura looked fantastic. I skipped 2 today. Kinda regret it.
There are at least 2 more good ones in Tokyo next week, so there's hope for this old guy yet.

Actually, I stole that pic off the internet because I was concerned more with drinking than taking pictures. But I just got the greatest pic from our sat nagoya hanami from my firend nick. Posting it now.
