For everyone out there who doesn't know....here is CNN's take on the failing real beer sales, and the rise of turd be...I mean "third category beer". I just drank a Tokyo Black. Consider me a rebel in this land.
Exsqueeze me? "Premium beer drinkers choose it because of the bad economy..." I don't understand. If they choose it, how can you still call them premium beer drinkers? That head brewmaster is a raging alcoholic. Drinking vast quantities of beer, every day, all alone in a room. The demonstration by the woman who gives great head didn't work. With the third category shi-I mean beer, you get the same amount of beer, but with 4 inches of head? At the end, did the lady dip her dirty cloth in the beer? WTF was that about?
Agreed Chuwy...why wouldnt she just tell how much the Premium malts costs and compare it that way? And the masterbrewer says that his crap is delicious?? I used to love the Black Malts...but.....
You can give me that crap in a rainbow colored room with Richard simmons sweating to the oldies, and I will still be able to tell you that it sucks, distractions aside.
And by the way, i said rainbow and richard simmons, and I am not gay. Just so you know.
Ah, I'm confusing him with Gene Simmons, so I didn't get the double reference. Understandably, in that sense, I was a little confused there. I think I saw their chief brewer, hanging out under the train tracks, down by the river. He was disguised as a hobo and had a can of chu-hi in his hand. Suntory have produced a few interesting attempts at interesting beers in the last few years, experimenting with different varieties of hops and not skimping on the malt content either. Still, they are enver as good as one is led to believe, but at least they 'seem' to be trying.
