It was reported earlier that Your's Truly got his grubby little hands on a bottle of the first export batch of Ginga Kogen that's heading to the States. I'd wow you and arouse your jealousy with a picture, but alas--I left the bottle at my girlfriend's house where I hope her brother or father dont get their grubby little hands on it.
Not too much beer news today to report. There is a Suntory Malt's Blog where they recently experimented with mixing some of the Malt's (regular) with some of the new Green Aroma. I can't imagine that these two forces combine to make any that will make your tongue slap your brains out.
If you don't reach Stonch's Beer Blog, you should. Especially this post which had me laughing out loud so hard in the teachers office that I had to leave the room. Great stuff.
As always, I will leave you this Friday with some good pics. Enjoy.
You will notice in the pics that Nate likes to steal money from the little shrines whenever he can to get beer money, wear drinking hats and drinking masks, and he likes to drink Happoshu on the beach in Tahara. Can you believe that?

All of those pictures are out of context! And I wasn't taking from the shrine, I was giving money to pray for more money to buy beer. Low and behold there was more money at the shrine! But, seriously I never purposely stolen money from a shrine.
Yes, anyone out there who actually thinks that Nate steals money from a shrine...it was a joke. A cruel evil joke.
And for the record, there is nothing wrong with drinking happoshu at the beach. The beach is one place where a stout is for sure out of the question.
A beach is one place where a stout 'what' is out of the question?
Ahem!!
