Greetings! You have found Good Beer and Country Boys, a blog created about the first by the latter. Some native Kentuckians chronicle their search for great beer in The Bluegrass and Beyond!
Says Nick via a text to my phone, "this ale is retarded good. 3 malts, twice the normal hops PLUS leaf hops. its at the mokumoku organic buffet place in nag." I haven't tried Moku Moku's beer yet but I plan to visit their farm and brewery in Mie prefecture come May or June. Some of my friends from the big KY are coming to visit then and I have only been hearing good things about this place.

Try the buffet in Nagoya, it is seriously one of the better buffets around. however, they don't let you take beer home (that is really retarded). Would love to check out Moku Moku some time too.
The buffet wasnt bad. Not much dessert but plenty of eye candy to be had at no extra charge. Didn't think the beers were anything orgasmic but then I may have been distracted. They weren't bad. The pils was good. The special I had was not. Place has a good buffet in Nagoya station but it's packed. There are similar equally delicious and good value organic buffets in Tokyo ( with better desserts but less eye candy, strangely enough) but alas, no craft beer to go with it. Was with the 2 Tims at the Nag station joint. Unfortunately we had no time to hit the actual HQ.
Good post to have as yesterdaywas Earth day(?) and today is jibeer day! Organic restaurants & craft beer! However, the mokumoku place did feel slightly effeminite (the whole 'Mother Earth' thing?). For all around value and kick ass manliness, I reckon Gotenba Kogen all you can eat and drink with manly beer and manly steak has to be the manliest buffet around. In fact, only the Japanese term 'viking' is manly enough a word to describe it. Good manly value. Grrr!

The finish was a bit weak, but overall a greatgoddamnedbeer. The buffet is indeed badass.
