Well, the weekend is over and it's back to work. It was a good one as we relaxed on the mean streets of Toyohashi--played some frisbee with a local kid--and had a picnic in the mountains eating off the Good Beer Country Boys Earthenware....Nate will put some pictures up soon.
Next weekend we are heading to Tahara for a homebrew party, grilling out, and clam digging. It should be a pretty good time--as long as the weather is nice, the grill is hot, and the beer is cold. Two of those three we can control--for the other we will just pray.
Only one more day left to vote on The Official Beer of Summer 2009--and it looks like The Premium Malt's is running away with it after an early push from Happoshu. (Disclaimer: Happoshu refers not to ji-beer but rather crappy Happoshu and third category brews...)
I found The Premium Malt's on sale at SATY this weekend for 278 yen for a 500ml Tall Boy. Can you beat that?
