6AM and I'm already busy???

Welcome back to the work week. I have a crazy busy day today and won't be able to post much... Thanks for everyone's take on the Hibiya Octoberfest (in the comments) and it seems like the event wasn't as good this year as it has been in years past. Of course, on the bright side that means things can always get better!

Nate's buddies arrived last night and I'm pumped for them to come and chill in the mountains this weekend.

I went to the Horaisen brewery yesterday and drank some great sake. Great Sake.

Started off the weekend with an Aooni IPA last Friday....not near as good as I remembered it or was expecting. You feel the same?

Would really like to have this abby on tap. In casked form should be pretty damn good.

I still like it, and I'd name it my fave, readily available IPA here in Japan, but it's a far cry from my favorite IPA. Dogfish Head 60-minute IPA, where are you?!

I'm still very partial to the Ozenoyukidoke IPA. MY fav Japanese craft brew IPA so far. Yes, the 60 min is nice. Had the 90 min too, but that bugger is expensive. Think I've also had the 120 min but am not sure if it was just the 2 of those 3 or all 3 I'd tried. I do love the Titan IPA. Hop monster. Ruination is nice but I'm not sure if that is a double IPA. The Stone IPA I actually like a lot. Big Eye too. I haven't had the pleasure of an Pliny the elder yet, though. Jonno and Tim E had grabbed the last ones before I could get to Tanakaya. Did you mean where am I on the beers or where am I inJapan?
Did you mean where am I or where is someone else? I just had a huge mug of Chuwy coffee, so my mind is all over the place, just liike my spelling.

I agree that the Aooni is the cheapest and most readily accessible...and I do love some Stone IPA and Ruination....

Chuwy, I haven't had the Ozenoyukidoke IPA, but I loved Ise kadoya's IPA....it was killer.

I'm big on the Stone one as well, as well as the Sheltowee IPA, brewed by BBC in KY. GReat beer, and only $7 for a six pack!
