Greetings! You have found Good Beer and Country Boys, a blog created about the first by the latter. Some native Kentuckians chronicle their search for great beer in The Bluegrass and Beyond!
Its the big 5 selling almost all their crap beer (but not perhaps their better brews) in Roppongi Hills. I wouldnt waste my time, unless the companions were good enough, there doesn't seem to be a reason to go there and spend money. 500yen beers. Open 4-9pm from 25th until 31st. This is crap compared to the Hibiya Oktoberfest, which runs from 22nd to 31st. Much better. Big tents, outside, open air seating, German (Franziskaner, Spaaten, Edringer, Lowenbrau, Kostrizer) beer and Japanese craft beer (Fujisakura and probably Yokohama). Good music, good food, great people. The oktoberfest wins hands down. PLUS you can bring your own cheap booze to the place, stashed secretly in your bag! PROST! Who knows, I may even jump in the fountain (again).
Last year Miyuki entered a contest on the internet for us to win a trip through all the Beer-Den stuff. No trip, but we did win two wine glasses with the Beer-Den 2008 logo on them. Yes, wine glasses.

My investigation was thwarted by internet filters. So it must be good.
I've been informed that it is a play on words:
May = Golden Week = BEER-den Week
Quite possibly the worst try at making a connection between the two. It seems like a big fest put on by the big 4 in Roppongi to promote....the Big 4.
Great website though!
