Golden Week Games Begin!

Nate was spot on with his Derby preview. For those of you not from KY, I'm sure that you don't fully grasp how big the Derby is to us. People plan parties for weeks in advance, and for most the Derby party is a much bigger event than the Superbowl or just about any other holiday that doesn't involve Jesus.

Of course my buddies all refer to Derby Day as "Derbeer's Day", and in the past we have had some great times. Of course good brew is drank with some of Harpole's famous brats, which are boiled in beer and butter on the grill for 30 minutes, then grilled on the outside for about 3 or 4 more minutes. They are great, and each one takes about 3 years off your life. I'm already + 5 in the green.

Tomorrow I'm off to the Fuji area for some traveling, relaxing, onsening and some good brew. Hope your golden week is full of fun! I'll update as much as I can, but since drinking good brew is more important than blogging about it.....you'll be on the back burner until Wednesday night....
