Chuwy sent me this picture of Chris and Jonno...evidently Chris wasn't too happy about missing me and Nate....
I promise he is popping the top on that bottle, not putting a little pils in that beer...
And, just because I will be back in KY at my old apartment, (the coolest apartment you have ever seen--it's a renovated bar from the 1930's...) I will show you what a random Friday night looks like in KY when my girl comes in from Japan. Drinking Bud Heavy, High Life, Blue Moon, Umeshu, and eating dried fish. It doesn't get much better than that!!
By the way, since I mentioned "Tom Petty" in the post about The Fishmarket Taproom, it seems that Good Beer and Country Boys made it on some Tom Petty site that has articles about Tom from all over the web...

I think that is an Orval sign down my shirt that i was going to nick in my drunkrn state - till the bartender saw it and confiscated it - BOO! FOUL!

I don't remember that picture, therefore it's not really me. Who am I anyway?
This week was probably the busiest in my life -- 10-12 hour days every day, Sunday through Friday. I don't think I got home before 5:30 any day, starting at 7:00 or 7:15. I'm still pissed that I missed the Kentucky boys, but Jonno and Chewy and the Tokyo boys made up for some of the disappointment.
We brewed the first Harajuku Ale today, just in time for the opening at the beginning of August. Yea!
Chris..I'll be back soon, im just bummed that im gonna miss the opening in Harajuku!!!
by the way..any beers you want me to bring back from the US???
DH -- I guess my answer is to just bring back anything you find interesting. I tend to enjoy IPAs and pale ales more than anything, but if it's good, I'll enjoy it.
