I admit I like the old cans, even if the 'old' beer recipe tastes the same. But hey, I was a fan of the High Life Hunting Cans too!

Tis the season, I guess. Asahi and Sapporo have dragged their Showa-era cans out of retirement too.
Seriously the Meiji era stuff is what lagers today only wish they were. Very good stuff for the style. I am definetely going to get my hands on these puppies. I think they came out at this time about two or three years ago.

I enjoyed the Pilsener last year- drank me a bunch of it. Anyone know if the Edelpils is going to be released in cans again this year? If I remember right it was out about this time last year.
Edelpils on draft is great -- I haven't seen cans of it laying around, but I haven't really looked either. But if this is the season, time to open my eyes.
