Hitting your shelves March 3rd, is Sapporo Creamy White. It does contain some malt and hops, but I'm not going to say it's going to taste good.
Sapporo is leading the way when it comes to trying to venture into the craft beer market. They did have a beer, only available online, even called Sapporo Craft Brew. Got to give it to them for at least trying.
But, Suntory's The Premium Malt's still kills Sapporo Black Label. Apologies to Chris P. !

Saw Chris P in taproom on Sunday.
alas, he ahd to elave, inorder tog et up at 2am for the superbowl playoffs. The Nakameguro taproom guy was there, drinking wiht... ...some Sapporo people! I asked them to continue wit the edelpils and make more of the good stuff. One guy was from the Ginza Lion place and I asked him about the creamy top. Didn't seem too excited about it.
Those guys did give me a dark sky imperial stout though, so that was nice.
Chuwy, that's awesome! I heard that that guy might be opening a place of his own in the near future!
I can't blame Chris about the superbowl playoffs, they were good games. The Super Bowl is sure to be a good one. Too bad it is on when I am at school!! Blast!
DH, take a day off and come over to Numazu -- you too, Chuwy (and sorry about Sunday). We're having a Superbowl party at Numazu Taproom -- a pot of gumbo, cheese, chips, salsa, whatever is easy to make (there will be a small charge for food), beers pouring -- during commercials only. (we might even hook up the handpumps if enough people are coming).
DH, the Nakameguro guy is the new tencho -- the former tencho already left and will open his own place in Shizuoka, targeted for mid-April.
Chris! Thanks for clearing up the confusion! I look forward to visiting the new place ! I would love to come and watch the superbowl...but that would mean I would have to take TWO days off...Monday and Tuesday!!!!

Enough for one refill...but two??
Commercial breaks are usually two minutes, but during the Superbowl there are LOTS of breaks. Definitely able to pour three or four pints during that time -- one for me, one for BB, and two for customers.
DH -- two days is nothing!
