Digging through the Dust...

It's no secret that we love to hit the liquor stores in search of buried treasure. What you might see as an out of date, old, dusty bottle on the back of the shelf--we might see as an amazing find. This year alone Nate and I have found dozens of old, higher ABV beers sitting on the shelf just waiting for us to discover. We each bought a few 2007 Dogfish World Wide Stouts, other IIPAs and the like.

Watching us go to craft beer stores is liking watching some women shop for shoes. In fact, I think my wife is just as bored watching me shop for beer as I am watching her shop for...anything other than beer.

Sometimes, you come across a diamond in the rough. Like this picture, where Michi and Nate found some treasures at The Beer Store in Louisville.

Not only did they have Baird, but Ise Kadoya IPA as well. I bought several of each. Tasty.
